Lionsgate has snapped up U.K. rights to suspense thriller “The Holding.”

Pic, sold via AV Pictures, is in post and will be unveiled to buyers at the European Film Market in Berlin in February. Helmer Susan Jacobson’s debut feature, set in Blighty’s Peak District, stars Kierston Wareing and Vincent Regan.

Alex Boden of Pistachio Pictures, George Mizen of Notorious Films and Gateway Films’ Terry Stone produce; James Burstall and Joey Attawia of Leopardrama will co-produce with Northcroft Films.

AV Pictures’ AFM slate includes “Stormhouse,” “Best Laid Plans” and “Anuvahood.”
