Kudos, owned by Elisabeth Murdoch’s Shine, is one of Blighty’s most successful drama producers. Its output includes “Spooks” (aka “M-15″ in the U.S.), “Life on Mars” and “Occupation.” “I’ve had 10 fantastic years with BBC drama production … but I hope to be back making shows for the BBC before long and, of course, for other U.K. and international broadcasters too,” Santer said. Jane Featherstone, Kudos’ creative director, said, “When we heard that Diederick was considering setting up a drama outfit, we leaped at the chance to be part of it.
