Company acquires rights to French horror film

Indomina Releasing has acquired North American rights to the French horror film “The Pack,” which premiered at this year’s Cannes Film Festival.

The film stars Yolande Moreau (“Micmacs”) and Emilie Dequenne (“The Girl on the Train”).

It was written and directed by Franck Richard, produced by Verane Frediani, Christophe Louis and Frank Ribiere, and exec produced by Priscilla Bertin, Jeremy Burdek, Nadia Khamlichi and Adrian Plitowski.

“The Pack” follows a young woman who drives a beat-up station wagon in the countryside of northern France and picks up a mysterious hitchhiker, who strangely disappears. She then discovers that her blood is being used to feed a “pack” of flesh-eating ghouls.

“The Pack” was a selection at the 2010 Screamfest and received Best Editing and Best Special Effects honors.

Indomina has also recently acquired “Griff the Invisible,” “Wasted on the Young,” “Bodyguards and Assassins,” “True Legend” and “Fire of Conscience.”
