‘In the House’ marathon

Sundance Channel in Europe and Asia carries Bart-Guber show

Sundance Channel in Europe and Asia is celebrating the Oscars with an “In the House With Peter Bart and Peter Guber” marathon on March 6, the day before the Academy Awards.

Ten episodes of the showbiz talkfest will run back-to-back from 7 p.m. until midnight, featuring interviews with 15 of this year’s nominees.

Episodes include Bart, Variety VP and Editorial Director, talking to Kathryn Bigelow (Oscar-nommed for best director) and Mark Boal (original screenplay), about their Iraq War film, “The Hurt Locker,” a contender for best picture.

Producer Guber talks to his friend Jeff Bridges, nommed for actor for his role in “Crazy Heart,” about life in the country, his parental influences and winning awards.

The Sundance Channel reaches more than 34 million subscribers in the U.S. and is available in France, Belgium, Singapore and Korea.
