Babelsberg confirmed on Friday that Focus Features’ “Hanna,” starring Cate Blanchett, Saoirse Ronan and Eric Bana, will begin lensing at the studio in Potsdam on Monday.
Pic, helmed by Joe Wright, centers on a 14-year-old girl who has spent her life living in the woods and is trained by her father to be an assassin. She then leaves the wilderness for the first time to assassinate a high-ranking government official who has a lot to hide.
Marty Adelstein, Leslie Holleran and Scott Nemes are producing pic. Studio Babelsberg is the executive producing the pic, which will also be shot on location in Finland, Morocco, Bavaria as well as in Berlin.
