Thesp to play Kenneth Lay in Broadway production
Gregory Itzin has joined the cast of the upcoming Broadway production of “Enron,” the London hit about the 2001 fiscal scandal.
He’ll play disgraced Enron prexy Kenneth Lay in helmer Rupert Goold’s Rialto staging of Lucy Prebble’s play, which also stars Norbert Leo Butz.
Itzin, whose TV work includes “The Mentalist” and an Emmy-nommed recurring role as President Logan in “24,” was last on the Main Stem in “The Kentucky Cycle” in 1993.
“Enron” begins Rialto perfs April 8 at the Broadhurst Theater.
