Distrib takes 'Killers,' 'Potiche,' 'Apart Together'

TOKYO — Japanese indie distrib Gaga has announced its pickups at Cannes.

Robert Luketic’s “Killers” from Lionsgate, Francois Ozon’s “Potiche” from Wild Bunch and Wang Quan-an’s “Apart Together” from Celluloid Dreams.

Gaga has had its ups and downs in the tough Japanese market since its start in 1986, but is on a roll with the French docu “Oceans” earning $26 million this year.
