LONDON — Peter Cowley, one of Endemol U.K.’s most highly regarded toppers, is leaving the global production giant.
The shingle’s seasoned managing director of digital media departs to set up his own venture following seven years at the “Big Brother” outfit.
Cowley’s exit comes as Endemol U.K. restructures. The change involves axing its digital department as a free-standing division.
In its place will sit a new digital board operating “at the heart of the company, ” said the shingle.
This will be chaired by chief operating officer Lucas Church and the managing director of Endemol-owned Remarkable Television, David Flynn.
Board will also include all the creative heads at the U.K. group’s production arms, plus key members of the digital media and commercial teams.
