Canadian film distributor E1 Entertainment has picked-up U.K. and Irish rights to “Fair Game” and “The Runaways” for release this year.
Helmer Doug Liman’s “Fair Game” is in competition at the Cannes Film Festival. It is based on the memoir of Valerie Plame, the former CIA operative and wife of the former U.S. ambassador Joseph Wilson. It stars Naomi Watts and Sean Penn. “The Runaways” is the biopic about the femme glam-rock band from the 1970s.
