Judges also include Seghatchian, Makhmalbaf

LONDON — Helmer Jane Campion will head an all-woman jury at the 12th Mumbai Film Festival, which unspools Oct. 21-28.

Other jury members are U.K. producer Tanya Seghatchian, Iranian helmer Samira Makhmalbaf, South Korean actress Yoon Jeong-Hee and Indian actress-director-producer-writer Suhasini Maniratnam.

Fest program is divided into eight sections: an international competition for debut features, World Cinema, Indian Frame, Dimensions Mumbai, Retrospectives, Above the Cut and New Faces in Indian Cinema, with a new section Celebrate Age added this year to look at the positive side of ageing.

The fest, which is into its second decade, is organized by the Mumbai Academy of the Moving Image, with backing from billionaire Anil Ambani’s Reliance Big Entertainment.
