Film Movement to release 'Sea' in North America

Micro-distrib Film Movement has acquired North American rights to Pedro Gonzalez-Rubio’s Spanish-lingo pic “Alamar” (To the Sea).

Pic screened at the just-ended Rotterdam Film Festival and will be the opening-night feature of the Berlinale’s Generation section. “Alamar” screened at Toronto last year.

Acquisition was negotiated by Film Movement prexy Adley Gartenstein, VP of acquisitions and distribution Rebeca Conget and Matthieu Giblin of MK2.
