Korea's Voozclub, Spain's Screen 21 back series

LONDON — High-profile U.K. animation studio Aardman has joined forces with partners in Korea and Spain to produce tyke property “Canimals.”

Korean toon specialist Voozclub and Spain’s Screen 21, part of Madrid-based BRB, originated the show, which is comprised of 52 seven-minute episodes.

Aardman will lead the scripting and voices while Voozclub and BRB will manage the design, animation and sound production.

Series, which will bow at next month’s Mip TV sales mart, follows the adventures of several tin can-shaped, CGI animals and the scrapes they get into in the real, live-action world.

The three parties want “Canimals” to bow before the end of the year.
