Warner TV lights Cannon

Bruckheimer helmer sets two-year deal

Multihyphenate Danny Cannon has cut a two-year overall deal with Warner Bros. TV.

Cannon has long been Jerry Bruckheimer’s go-to helmer for pilots. The pact calls for him to continue working with the Bruckheimer shop and to develop projects on his own. He’s already slated to helm the pilot for Warner Bros. TV’s reboot of “La Femme Nikita” for the CW and exec producers McG, Craig Silverstein and Peter Johnson.

Cannon has been in the Warner Bros. TV fold for the past four years.

He’s the co-creator and exec producer of Bruckheimer’s TNT cop show “Dark Blue,” which is heading into its second season this summer.

He’s also an exec producer of ABC’s fledgling Bruckheimer procedural “The Forgotten.”

Cannon, repped by CAA, helmed the pilots for all three “CSI” skeins.

Warner Bros. TV declined to comment.
