Disney deal includes 'Scrubs,' 'Greek'
The Walt Disney Co. Russia and CIS has licensed the first two series of ABC Family shows “The Secret Life of the American Teenager” and “Make It or Break It” to MTV Russia.
Both have performed strongly in the U.S. for ABC Family.
Disney said “Teenager” broke records by achieving web’s highest viewing figures with key teen and adult audiences for its January bow.
The show focuses on a high-achieving teen who finds herself unexpectedly pregnant.
Set in the world of competitive gymnastics, “Make It or Break It” follows a group of teen Olympic hopefuls as they train and prepare for their day in the spotlight.
The deal with MTV Russia also includes ABC Studios hospital saga “Scrubs” and ABC Family’s college comedy drama “Greek.”
