French thesp to receive Excellence Award

Chiara Mastroianni will collect this year’s Excellence Award at the Locarno Film Festival.

The 38-year-old French star and daughter of Euro-arthouse heavyweights Catherine Deneuve and Marcello Mastroianni, will receive the prize on Aug. 6, while the 63rd edition of the fest runs Aug. 4-14.
