The 14th annual Los Angeles Latino Intl. Film Festival has announced its sked of Hollywood Connect events and opening night film “Hermano.”
“Hermano” will make its North American bow at the fest’s Aug. 19 opening night gala at Grauman’s Chinese Theater. Film follows a pair of Venezuelan soccer hopefuls who must choose between their family and dreams of sports stardom.
This year’s fest will also feature Hollywood Connect panels, including a Q&A with “The Sorcerer’s Apprentice” scripter Matt Lopez. The fest runs through Aug. 25.
