Nabs U.S., U.K. rights to Neeson thriller
Anchor Bay Films has acquired theatrical distribution rights for the U.S. and the U.K. to thriller “After.Life,” starring Liam Neeson, Christina Ricci, Justin Long and Josh Charles.
Anchor Bay plans a spring theatrical release for the project, directed by Agnieszka Wojtowicz-Vosloo in her feature helming debut. Script’s co-written by Wojtowicz-Vosloo and Paul Vosloo and centers on a young woman caught between life and death and a funeral director who appears to have the gift of transitioning the dead.
Bill Perkins and Plum Pictures produced with Perkins financing through his Lleju Prods. Brad Gilbert of Constellation Entertainment and Celine Rattray of Plum also produced; Galt Niederhoffer, Pam Hirsch, Edwin Marshall, James Swisher and Cooper Richey exec produced.
