Fest unveils 28 entries for latest edition

Tokyo– TPG, the international project mart of the Tokyo Intl. Film Festival, has unveiled 28 entries for its sixth and latest edition, skedded for Oct. 25-28 at Roppongi Mori Tower.

Among the highlights is “Seagull Day,” by helmer Ryuichi Hiroki (“April Bride”) and producer Yasushi Utagawa (“Golden Slumber”).

Also on TPG’s lineup this year is director Yuya Ishii’s “Hara ga kore nande,” while Tokyo-based horror maven Norman England will try to interest investors in his off-beat shocker “Zombie My Zombie.” Also, Aussie scripter-helmer Max Mannix will bring his WWII prison camp tale “Yellow Earth.”
