White Oak at work on ‘Living’

Hourlong takes look at still-living Hollywood legends

New TV production entity White Oak Films is at work on “Living Legends,” an hourlong look at still-living players from Hollywood’s golden age.

John Dayton (“The Ray Bradbury Theatre”) will direct and interview talent, while entertainment historian Marc Scott Zicree, who wrote “The Twilight Zone Companion,” will pen the special.

Dayton, Zicree and public relations vet Dale Olson are exec producers, while Cory Travalena and Todd Klick (“Rough Cut”) will produce and edit.

Merrill Capps is the president of White Oak and is partner in the new company along with Dayton, Zicree, Olson, Travalena and Klick. The group plans to donate some of the earnings from “Living Legends” to the Actors’ Fund charity.
