Turner does not renew ‘Trust Me’

Eric McCormack already booked for ABC comedy

As expected, Turner will not renew ad-agency-set drama “Trust Me” for a second season.

TNT series, which stars Eric McCormack and Tom Cavanagh debuted Jan. 26 to 3.4 million viewers, slightly less than half garnered by lead-in “The Closer.” “Trust Me’s” prospects grew even bleaker the following week when its aud depreciated to 1.9 million viewers.

McCormack has already been booked for the lead in an ABC comedy produced by Tad Quill.
