On the cusp of its final season on ABC, “Lost” will get exposure on DirecTV’s 101 channel in the form of six specials airing on consecutive Saturdays beginning Dec. 26.
The programs, derived from the season recap specials that originally aired on ABC, will include elements not seen before on TV such as DVD extras, behind-the-scenes footage, deleted scenes and musicvideos.
Promotional partnership is first between ABC and the 101, which has been airing reruns of former ABC series “Wonderland” and “The Nine,” along with firstrun episodes of “Friday Night Lights” via a deal with NBC.
The final season of “Lost” premieres Feb. 2 on ABC at 9 p.m.
The 101 is available to DirecTV’s 18.3 million subscribers.
