Endemol will offer “Nini,” a 120-part format comedy, at the L.A. Screenings that begin informally this week.
Series, written by Gabriela Fiore, will try to capitalize on Argentine singer-actress Florencia Bertotti’s rise to fame with such Spanish-language television hits as “Son Amores” and “Floricienta.”
Bertotti’s character dresses as a man and is employed as a chauffeur to a wealthy ambassador in order to remain close to his adoptive children.
“Nini,” set to go on the air in July, will be produced by Endemol Argentina and distributed globally by Endemol Intl. It is shot in Buenos Aires.
