‘Bones’ on hold until star recovers

Production shut down while Boreanaz ill

Production on 20th Century Fox series “Bones” has been shut down as star David Boreanaz has come down with the flu.

It was inconclusive whether Boreanaz, who called in sick Monday morning, has swine flu, but showrunner Hart Hanson posted on Twitter that the skein would not shoot on the West Los Angeles lot because of the H1N1 virus.

A studio spokesperson said production on the series, which typically shoots Monday through Friday, was expected to resume Tuesday.
