Academy to work with BNC, BMM
The Academy of Television Arts and Sciences has retained two praiseries to handle the media relations for the Primetime Emmy Awards and other acad functions as of next year.
BNC Marketing and PR will handle the Primetime and Creative Arts Emmys, as well as the Los Angeles area Emmy kudos, the Television Hall of Fame and other acad-sponsored events. BNC (aka Bragman Nyman Cafarelli) will also field corporate communications for the acad.
Beck Media & Marketing will oversee PR for the Television Academy Foundation, ATAS philanthropic arm. The foundation runs the acad’s internship program, the Archive of American Television historical archive and the College Television Awards, among other activities.
