Lynn Pressman Raymond dies at 97

Pressman Toy president was mother to Ed

Lynn Pressman Raymond, mother of producer Ed Pressman who worked on several films with her son including “Phantom of the Paradise,” died July 22 in New York. She was 97.

Pressman Raymond was the president of Pressman Toy for 20 years, succeeding her husband Jack Pressman, who founded the company. She is credited with introducing the popular doctor and nurse bag play kits.

In addition to Ed, she is survived by her son James, current president of Pressman Toys, daughter Ann, five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
