Web walks aisle with 'Battle,' 'Faster,' 'Four'
TLC is further entering the world of wedding-themed programming, launching several new programs in the coming weeks.Pickups include the special “Battle of the Wedding Planners,” which launches Nov. 13 at 10 p.m. Program from Target Entertainment centers on three wedding planners who compete to come up with a low-budget wedding for an engaged couple. Channel has also picked up six episodes of “Happily Ever Faster,” which centers on the Chapel of the Flowers, located on the Strip in Las Vegas. Leftfield produces the show, which launches Nov. 20 at 10 p.m. and will continue to premiere two new episodes a week. From ITV Studios, TLC has ordered 10 episodes of “Four Weddings,” which follows four brides as they attend — and rate — each other’s weddings. Sneak peak airs on Dec. 11 at 10 p.m., before moving to its regular slot on Jan. 30 at 10 p.m. Nancy Glass Prods. is behind “Manhattan Marriage Project,” which stars wedding planner Gino Filippone. Show gets a sneak on Dec. 18 at 10 p.m.; show premieres in its regular slot on Jan. 8.
