Exec promoted to VP of current programs

Tijuana Entertainment has promoted Rob LaPlante to VP of current programs.

For the past two years, LaPlante served as VP of development and will continue to work with Tijuana founders Troy Searer and John Foy in overseeing series production.

LaPlante joined Tijuana from Mark Burnett Prods., where he produced six seasons of “The Apprentice.” Previously, he was at Bunim/Muray Prods., where he was a casting director on four seasons of “The Real World” and “Road Rules.”

Reality-based Tijuana produces “Obsessed” on A&E.
