Sony Pictures Television Intl. has streamlined its production operations following June’s acquisition of the Netherlands-based 2waytraffic.
Former 2waytraffic CEO Kees Abrahams becomes president of production for Sony Pictures TV Intl.; he remains based in 2waytraffic’s Hilversum headquarters. Overseeing a 2waytraffic portfolio that includes “Who Wants to Be a Millionaire,” Abrahams will also manage Sony’s international production group, which has more than 9,000 hours of programming in over 30 countries.
Reporting to Abrahams will be Mike Morley, the division’s exec VP and chief creative officer. Based in London, Morley leads the unit’s creative efforts for scripted and nonscripted programming.
