Style has picked up “Giuliana and Bill” for a second season, three weeks after it premiered on the network.
Airing at 9 p.m. Wednesdays, “Giuliana and Bill” has drawn 75% more viewers than Style’s primetime average, nearly doubling the network’s performance among women 18-49. The series trails only “Ruby” among women 18-34 and 18-49 on the cabler.
“Style viewers tell us they love ‘Giuliana and Bill’ because it’s a positive and inspiring look at modern marriage,” Style prexy Salaam Coleman Smith said.
“Giuliana and Bill” depicts the long-distance marriage of E! correspondent Giuliana Rancic in Los Angeles and her Chicago-based husband, an author and professional speaker. The finale of the 10-episode first season is scheduled for Oct. 7.
Production on season two, which Style said would feature the couple’s exploration of starting a family and determining where to raise their children, will begin in September.
Carmen Mitcho and Jay James of Comcast Entertainment Prods. exec produce the series with Sarah Weidman and Merah Chung of Style, as well as the Rancics.
