Literary agent taps exec trio

Cox, Groff, Bauman join Weisbach

New York-based literary agency Rob Weisbach Creative Management has tapped a team of senior associates — Erin L. Cox, David Groff and Jake Bauman — to maintain and support the company’s comprehensive development plan.

Cox, former book publishing director at the New Yorker, will work primarily in publicity and promotion; while, veteran book editor Groff is set to scout and develop writers. Bauman, former director of development at the Weinstein Co., will develop and represent authors and screenwriters.

“I’ve always admired the work of Erin, David and Jake,” Weisbach said. “Their intelligence, range of experience and passion for quality will be a significant asset to the company and its clients.”

Prior to the company’s launch earlier this year, Weisbach has represented such high-profile clients as Jon Stewart, Jerry Seinfeld, Whoopi Goldberg and author Norman Ollestad.
