FSN to sport more ‘Science’

Network signs on for more 'Sports'

Fox Sports Network has signed on for a second season of “Sports Science.”

Produced by Base Prods., the nonfiction series runs popular athletes through a hangar-sized lab, showing off unique abilities. An experiment on Ray Lewis in season one, for example, showed the Pro Bowl linebacker can deliver more blunt-force trauma to an NFL quarterback than a SWAT team battering ram.

Creators John Brenkus and Mickey Stern exec produce the series for Base Prods. Bob Thompson and George Greenberg oversee the show for FSN. Skein begins its 13-week second-season March 22.
