Film finance vet to head marketing, biz dev

Showbiz insurance specialist Aon/Albert G. Rubin has named film finance vet Fred Milstein to the post of managing director of worldwide marketing and business development.

Milstein will work with Aon offices to create and implement marketing and business development initiatives.

“Fred brings tremendous experience in all aspects of motion picture packaging, financing and production, including film completion guarantees and insurance,” said Joe Addison, CEO of Aon’s entertainment practice. “With more than 30 years in the business, Fred adds to Aon’s robust industry leadership team focused on expanding our entertainment risk management offerings to better serve the creative needs of our film and television clients.”

Milstein was previously president and a founder of cineFinance, which specialized in completion guarantees for features and TV. He also held exec slots with the Completion Bond Co., Miramax and WMA.
