Fox stations renew ‘Pirro’

Courtroom series from WBTVD, Telepictures charged with third season

“Judge Jeanine Pirro,” the syndie courtroom strip from Warner Bros. Domestic TV Distribution and Telepictures, has been renewed for a third season by Fox Television Stations.

The announcement means the gaveler will continue to air in Fox’s 18 markets, led by New York, Los Angeles and the series’ home base of Chicago). “Pirro” is averaging a 1.0 rating in the 2009-10 season in syndication for Fox a year after it drew a 0.6 as a daytime offering on the CW.
