The Entertainment Industry Foundation’s industry-wide volunteer initiative kicked off Tuesday with an event benefiting the L.A. Regional Food Bank. The campaign runs through Saturday.
Employees from Paramount, NBC Universal and United Talent Agency lent a hand to make food packages for underprivileged families.
Throughout the week, scripted TV shows are incorporating the volunteerism plot line into their programs.
The L.A.-based campaign, iParticipate, includes volunteers from the major studios, networks, talent agencies and guilds.
Also set to participate are Warner Bros. Entertainment, Fox, Disney/ABC Television Group, Sony, CBS, Nickelodeon, the Directors Guild of America, Producers Guild, Writers Guild, Screen Actors Guild, CAA, ICM, Paradigm, WME and AEG.
