The Alphabet net is rounding out its summer programming slate, picking up three new and one returning limited-run series from ABC News’ “Primetime” umbrella.“Primetime: Family Secrets” will look at what happens when families hide awful truths; “Primetime: Crime” centers on notorious cases; and “Primetime: The Outsiders” centers on people who live in unusual worlds. And returning to ABC this summer is “Primetime: What Would You Do?” The “Primetime” series are set to fill the Tuesday and Wednesday 10 p.m. slots for most of the summer. “Family Secrets” will run Tuesdays at 10 p.m. June 23 to July 21, while “The Outsiders” takes over that spot July 28 to Sept. 8. “Crime,” meanwhile, will run Wednesdays at 10 p.m. June 24-Sept. 9, with a few exceptions. “What Would You Do?” does not yet have an airdate. It’s a busy summer for ABC News, which will also produce the special “J.K. Jackson discussing financial truths. That spec airs 9 p.m. May 29. Meanwhile, ABC’s summer longforms include “Diamonds,” which bows at 9 p.m. May 24, and “Impact,” which airs at 9 p.m. June 21. Part two of “Diamonds,” which stars Judy Davis and James Purefoy, will air at 9 p.m. May 26, while part two of “Impact,” featuring David James Elliott and Natasha Henstridge, comes June 28. Both “Diamonds” and “Impact” are international co-productions acquired by the Alphabet net. The reality skein was originally scheduled for Wednesdays starting July 1; in its new slot, “Road Trip” will serve as a lead-in to “America’s Got Talent.” Also, the Peacock will preem “America’s Got Talent” with a two-hour opener on June 23.
