Warner Horizon TV has tapped Disney vet Carlos Williams as its new head of business affairs.
Williams will serve as senior VP of business affairs at Warner Horizon, the alternative arm of Warner Bros. TV. He reports to Warner Horizon TV exec VP Craig Erwich.
Besides overseeing its biz affairs unit, Williams will handle Warner Horizon’s talent negotiations. Erwich cited the exec’s “experience, creative thinking and ability to craft innovative business solutions” in making the hire.
At Disney, Williams most recently served as VP and head of business affairs at Stage 9 Digital Media. He also spent time as VP of business affairs at ABC, as well as four years in the same role at sister ABC Studios (then Touchstone). Williams began his entertainment career in ABC’s legal affairs department.
Warner Horizon series include “Randy Jackson Presents America’s Best Dance Crew,” “The Bachelor,” “High School Reunion,” “There Goes the Neighborhood” and “Trust Me.”
