Independent Film & Television Alliance (IFTA) has reupped its two top execs.
Prexy-CEO Jean Prewitt and Jonathan Wolf, exec VP and managing director of the American Film Market, will remain at the global trade org through 2012.
Prewitt has headed IFTA since 2000. Among her key thrusts in the job is lobbying Washington on behalf of the indie film and TV industry. She has worked on halting media consolidation and piracy, particularly with the onset of digital technology and the growth of the Internet.
Wolf joined the org in 1998, and has overseen the growth of the AFM as well as the mart’s move from February to November. AFM, which this year runs Nov. 4-11, draws some 8,000 buyers, sellers and producers from 70-plus countries.
L.A.-based IFTA, formerly known as AFMA, reps more than 160 member companies in 22 countries.
