Docu to bow on cable on Nov. 19
“Terror in Mumbai,” a docu examining last year’s carefully orchestrated terrorist attack across the Indian city, will premiere Nov. 19 on HBO, one week before the anniversary of the incident that left more than 170 people dead.
Pic is a co-production of HBO and the U.K.’s Channel 4. Film will recount the 60-hour period when 10 Pakistani men unleashed a coordinated assault at high-profile sites around the populous city. Pic features audio tapes of intercepted phone calls and interrogation footage of the sole surviving gunman.
“Mumbai” is narrated by CNN’s Fareed Zakaria and was directed and produced by Dan Reed, who also helmed HBO’s “Terror in Moscow.”
