Guys' trip plays out over course of season
Fox Broadcasting is buddying up to scribe Dave Reynolds, ordering a premium script about four guys on an extended road trip.
Hourlong buddy comedy is said to be a cross between “The Hangover” and a male “Sex and the City.” The guys’ road trip plays out over the course of a season, as they confront personal issues — including how to handle their wives and girlfriends back home.
20th Century Fox TV is behind the show, along with Generate, which has a deal at the studio. Untitled project reps a collaboration between Generate’s production and management (where Reynolds is repped) divisions.
Reynolds is set to exec produce, along with Generate’s Jordan Levin, Pete Aronson and Jared Hoffman.
