Longtime Warner Bros. exec Lenny Bart has been named exec VP-general manager of Debmar-Mercury, where he will oversee operations in a newly created role.
Bart will supervise numerous domestic and international departments while also exploring strategic opportunities.
Bart was previously exec VP of Warner Bros. Domestic TV Distribution and was chiefly responsible for the division’s fee spot business. He worked at Warners for 22 years.
Among the shows that Lionsgate-owned Debmar-Mercury distributes are “South Park,” “Tyler Perry’s House of Payne” and “The Wendy Williams Show.”
