Fox and Disney alum Jerry Longarzo has been named head of business affairs at BermanBraun.
Longarzo will work with company principals Gail Berman and Lloyd Braun and finance chief Mike Weetman in overseeing business development and strategic planning for the NBC Universal-based shingle.
BermanBraun, launched in early 2007, has two frosh series on the fall primetime sked, NBC drama “Mercy” and CBS laffer “Accidentally on Purpose.” Company has scored in the digital realm with its celeb news site Wonderwall on the MSN platform.
Longarzo joins the company from Fox Television Studios, where he was exec veep of business and legal affairs. He previously served as senior veep of biz affairs at UPN and spent 10 years in various exec gigs at Disney, where he worked with Braun during the latter’s tenure as head of ABC Entertainment.
