Radio and cable news personality Glenn Beck has landed what Simon & Schuster describes as a “multi-book, multi-imprint” agreement with the publisher.
Beck’s two previous New York Times bestsellers are “The Christmas Sweater,” published last year, and “An Inconvenient Book,” published in 2007.
Upcoming books from the author-media host include “Arguing With Idiots,” due out under Simon & Schuster’s Threshold Editions imprint (which released “Book” and “Sweater”) in September; “America’s March to Socialism,” an original audiobook read by the author and due out in May; and “Glenn Beck’s Common Sense,” set to be published as an ebook (and later in paperback) in June.
Beck’s Fox News Channel talkshow has pulled in ratings outperforming any other cable news host except for his FNC colleagues Bill O’Reilly and Sean Hannity, despite its 5 p.m. timeslot. He remains the third-highest-rated national radio talkshow host.
