Sugarland tops LP, country music charts

'Inside' sells just short of 76,000 units

Though available exclusively at Wal-Mart, country Music duo Sugarland‘s “Live on the Inside” topped both the current LP and the country music charts for the week ended Aug. 9, according to Nielsen SoundScan. Sales of the CD/DVD set, just short of 76,000 units, were fueled by an ABC special that aired the night before the Aug. 4 release. Another country debut, Gloriana’s eponymous disc, ended up at No. 3, while the Black Eyed Peas, Kings of Leon and Taylor Swift all gained a position in the top 10.
