Bogdan Roscic will become president of Sony Music Classical in April.
In the newly created role, Roscic will oversee Sony Music’s classical operations and report directly to Rolf Schmidt-Holtz, CEO of Sony Music Entertainment.
Roscic was managing director for the Decca Music Group in London, where he worked with artists including Cecilia Bartoli, Renee Fleming, Valery Gergiev and Andrea Bocelli.
Before joining Decca in 2006, he was vice president, A&R, for Deutsche Grammophon in Hamburg. He previously worked as managing director of Universal Music Austria.
