Live Nation, BET partner on tours

U.S. club, theater shows to commence in L.A.

In a move designed to tap the urban concert audience, promoter Live Nation and BET Networks have partnered to produce a series of U.S. club and theater tours.

Relationship commences with the “106 and Park Tour,” kicking off Sept. 29 at House of Blues in Los Angeles.

Trek, which runs through November, will be co-headlined by R&B vocalist Trey Songz, currently represented in the top 10 by his Atlantic album “Ready,” and J Records urban star Mario. Bill is filled out by Day 26, Sean Garrett and new act RydazNRtist.

Plans call for tour stops in New York, Atlanta, Houston, Dallas, Chicago, Detroit, Baltimore, St. Louis and Washington, D.C.

“106 and Park” is BET’s nightly musicvid showcase series.
