Exec had similar position at Sony Music
Keith Naftaly has moved to senior VP, A&R, RCA/Jive Label Group from a similar position at the Sony Music Label Group U.S.
A former radio programmer who switched to the label side in 1995, Naftaly had been on the executive A&R staff of Dreamworks Records prior to joining Sony. His first label jobs were VP, A&R, at Arista Records and then senior vice president, A&R, J Records.
He will be based in the company’s New York headquarters and will report to Weiss, Chairman and CEO, RCA/Jive Label Group. The RCA/Jive Label Group was formerly the BMG Label Group. Both are in the Sony Music family.
“Returning to RCA stimulates that warm welcome home sensation of a family reunion,” Naftaly said in a statement. “This officially qualifies as my fantasy dream job.”
