Jackson tunes keep up sales

King of Pop's catalog sold 1.1 million copies

In the days since Michael Jackson’s memorial service on July 7, his record sales have continued to improve, climbing to the top six slots in the Top Pop Catalog Albums Chart, according to Billboard.com.

Jackson’s catalog of solo albums sold 1.1 million copies in the U.S. in the week ended Sunday — up 37% from the week before, Nielsen SoundScan reported Wednesday, while Jackson’s “Number Ones” collection is the top-selling album in the U.S. for the third week in a row.
