Music mecca moving to Brooklyn Sept. 9

New York-based avant garde music mecca the Knitting Factory has sent out its official change-of-address notice, moving from its storied lower Manhattan location to the Williamsburg neighborhood of Brooklyn on Sept. 9. The club will continue to host an eclectic mix of national, international and local acts, as well as art and cultural events. Brooklyn-based Les Savy Fav will perform and host opening night.
