Westport taps associate a.d.

Kennedy moves from Dallas Theater Center

David Kennedy will be the new associate a.d. at Connecticut’s Westport Country Playhouse, ankling the same post at Dallas Theater Center to move east.

Kennedy, a founding a.d. of the Lunar Society in Toronto and the Milkman Theater Group in Halifax, Nova Scotia, will work with new Westport a.d. Mark Lamos and managing director Michael Ross, who were both named to the Connecticut theater in January.

Kennedy was assistant director of “Urinetown” on the Rialto and was a.d. for the Summer Cabaret in New Haven when he was at the Yale School of Drama.
