Wendell Pierce (“The Wire”) and Francois Battiste (“The Good Negro”) are among the cast of the Lincoln Center Theater production of “Broke-ology.”
Thesps reprise roles they played in the show’s 2008 preem at the Williamstown Theater Festival. Also in the cast are Alano Miller and Crystal A. Dickinson (“The First Breeze of Summer”).
Thomas Kail (“In the Heights”), who also helmed the WTF incarnation, directs the Nathan Louis Jackson play about two brothers (Battiste and Miller) who return home to care for their father (Pierce).
“Broke-ology” will play LCT’s Off Broadway space, the Mitzi Newhouse. Previews begin Sept. 10 ahead of an Oct. 5 opening.
